If you've been outside lately you've probably seen caterpillars by the hundreds dangling from nearly invisible 'silk' lines.
I managed to find out that, thankfully, these are not Gypsy Moth caterpillars, but Forest Tent caterpillars.
I've attached a picture that shows what they look like and what they will become.
There definitely seems to be a lot more of them than in previous years.
