It’s a Fish Eat Fish World! – August 2005

Story fist published in the Frontenac News: It’s a fish eat fish world!

Roberta Anderson and her husband Carl Conboy were out for a summer paddle in their canoe on the east basin of Sharbot Lake when they saw something large and white splashing in the water. It was a muskie with a yellow pike stuffed into its mouth. They think perhaps the two were attacking the same fish and the muskie accidentally got its mouth around the head of the pike. They paddled over to two fishermen, Peter Lake and Butch Fanning, who had been having a poor day of fishing, and offered them the catch. It took a net and a paddle to haul the fish into the boat but Lake and Fanning got a pretty good feed for their trouble.
